Matrimony, not Patrimony.
Adultery and divorce are two of the
most painful and debilitating injuries a living Soul on planet Earth can inflict
upon itself.
Adultery and divorce are concerned with the most intimate and intricate relationship that can possibly exist anywhere in this present universe. There is no relationship in this universe more refined in its complexity and its potential than that relationship established by the so-called "bond of holy matrimony;" also known as the marriage of a male and a female of the adam-species.
This marriage relationship is perceived now as not much more than a convenience of humanistic legal practice from which certain monetary benefits obtain.
The truth is that matrimony is a Supernatural Ordinance enjoined by God our Father to the adam-species. This Ordinance is detailed succinctly in Hebrew/Christian Scripture. "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall cleave to his wife and they shall be one flesh." Whatever modern medicine makes of whatever this "flesh" might be, modern medicine has no idea or understanding whatsoever of how it is a man and a woman become "one flesh" under the bonds of matrimony. Many people think it is a "symbolic" description.
In the last 100 years, grotesque materialization of human perception has steadily diminished the humans' appreciation for the finer things of being alive. "Finer things" are now bought and sold off-the-shelf or as items custom-made. The refinements and benefits of Father-God's truth in Spirit are to-day held by many in mild derision and by many more in virulent contempt.
In the sixteenth chapter of Ezekiel's Book, an inspired and grief-stricken prophet details the long, sordid list of adultery-charges against those two Hebrew Nations known to this day as Israel and Judah.
Few people to-day would trouble themselves to read the sixteenth chapter of Ezekiel and think any more of it than, perhaps, it is quaint; or maybe even titillating. Most would be entirely insensitive to the fact that the ancient grief of the prophet and the present grief God our Father communicates through His prophet gives a modern stereo-vision of the supernatural truth concerning the blessings of matrimony and the deathly pain of adultery and divorce.
Matrimony is no trifling thing. A great deal of human suffering would be ended if people understood more about the supernatural powers at work in this Institution of Father-God's Power that God Himself has Ordained and enjoined to the male and female of the adam-species on planet Earth, to-day.
