Worship in Spirit and in Truth: The Secret Office of
Jesus of Nazareth said, "Men ought always to pray and not to faint," and He knew what He was talking about when He said it. Ideas of "prayer" before the Incarnation were made obsolete by the new Christ-order of "worship in Spirit and in truth."
Throughout every dimension and realm of heaven and earth, the Christ of God leads the worship of the Father "in Spirit and in truth." Whatever "worshipping in Spirit and in truth" means is now revealed in secrecy by God to the people of Earth. This revelation is ongoing and occurs one-Soul-at-a-time.
When Jesus of Nazareth said, "Men ought always to pray and not to faint," He knew what the future of prayer on planet Earth would be. He knew who would and who would not take the time to secretly present themselves to God "in Spirit and in truth."
At this writing (22 October 2002) it is estimated that there are approximately 8-billion (8,000,000,000) living Souls inhabiting planet Earth. Whether they know it or not, every one of them is living "in the Presence of God." "All things are naked and opened to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do." But even though the Almighty Father has the power to make slaves of the whole human race, He allows the freedom of His liberty in Christ to propel every Soul in whatever direction that Soul may happen to choose.
On planet Earth today, the wisdom of choosing "worship in Spirit and in truth" is a spiritual commodity that is in extremely short supply. Many don't and few do make that secret journey. The escalating strife of religion and politics gives testimony to this fact.
Those who somehow find a way to take the Father at His word are Given (by God Alone) a new perspective on the crazy-quilt influences of business, religion, science, family, and culture. Through the Secret Office of Prayer and Worship in Spirit and in Truth, God comforts the living Soul. "Fear not little flock. It is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." Those are no idle words. Something happens to a living Soul who begins to seek a way of worshipping God "in Spirit and in truth." The importance of secrecy in this quest cannot be overemphasized.
Shortly before His departure from the Earth, the Christ-man delivered important information about His Spirit. Pertinent details of this information are concentrated in John 14, 15, and 16. The information reveals precisely how the Christ-man maintains the relationship-portal that His earthy-atomic Body opened between the people of Earth and the throne of God.
The living Soul-in-flesh on Earth today is surely compelled to ask, "How are these things possible?" If the questioning Soul can somehow resist the immediate urge to interrogate other Souls-in-flesh and politely refer their most sincere and troubling inquiries to the Father Himself, that Soul should expect God's Enlightenment to occur in their lives on Earth.
Praying and not fainting from the responsibilities of secret prayer is the only sure way for a living Soul to survive the onslaught of evil that evil prince Lucifer is now allowed to visit upon all flesh.
In the final analysis, the Soul-experience of living on planet Earth is a spiritual experience. People who don't believe it will discover their error soon enough. Learning to pray and not to faint is a spiritual practice that God Himself takes pleasure in teaching any living Soul who has enough spiritual moxie to begin the quest for the truth, the way, and the life of God in Christ.
God in Christ is not a "religious option." He is the Alpha and the Omega. He is the beginning and the end of all things. At this writing, this troubled old world of planet Earth is undergoing dramatic changes. The idea of many paths leading to the same mountaintop holds true in the physical sense. But the spiritual path leading to God "in Spirit and in truth" is one-way and one-way only.
God-incarnate said it plainly enough: "I am the way. I am the truth. I am the life. No man comes to the Father except through me." The first step in the journey is taken from the Secret Office of Prayer where men (male and female) "ought always to pray and not to faint."
