Atomic Jesus Supernaturalist
He lifted a cup of wine and said,
"This is the new testament
of my blood which is shed for you."
When Jesus of Nazareth spoke those words at the so-called "last supper," He was giving notice that the elementary forms of time and space were about to be altered.
When the full consummation of His Grace is accomplished in this Age, a great many misconceptions about God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit will have vanished. Until then, "the new testament of my blood" covers the iniquity and imponderable corruption of the Earth-universe with particular attention given to the entity that God named "a living Soul."
Who can deny the confusion and corruption of urgencies, emotions, desires, ideas, and thoughts occurring within each Soul's decaying body of flesh? There is no possibility of a humanly contrived legal system or medical procedure that will remedy the congenital corruption of human nature in its present form. To believe otherwise is naive.
"The new testament of my blood which is shed for you" is the remedy for loss of innocence and ongoing corruption of the Soul-in-flesh. Where the living Soul is concerned, the remedy of Blood can be appropriated only "in Spirit and in truth." On this point it may be said that a great many people find it difficult to believe there is nothing "religious" about God when all the religions in this old world make it seem as though it were otherwise. At this point in time and space, the only requirement for a Soul's appropriation of God's Spirit and truth is to ask sincerely in secret prayer.
Through His Christ's Blood, God brought a new element to the experience of living on Earth. Doubtful human creatures may dispute it, but creature-dissent has no bearing on Creator Sovereignty. God is God. If God says, "My blood is shed for you," nothing can change that supernatural fact no matter who you are, whether you believe it or not. Since the beginning of time, every generation of mankind has attempted to thwart the profound simplicity of God's "good will toward men." Since the beginning of history, the majority of people have chosen not to take God at His Word. That majority is always wrong.
2000 years ago, "the Word [of God] was made flesh and dwelled among us. And we beheld His glory the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." The fleshy, bloody, bodily form of God's Word on planet Earth is known today by a famous Name that is extolled in some places and hated in others. But everyone everywhere knows the Name: Jesus of Nazareth...the Word of God-in-the-flesh. This tantalizing revelation sheds new light on the importance of language in the human sphere and makes the cheap talk of today's media all the more distressing.
The so-called "holy scriptures" are not the Word of God. The Scriptures are a record of what happens when the Word of God is Expressed by God Himself in the world of men. "The Word was made flesh and dwelled among us." Argument now about what-is-or-is-not "the word of God" is pointless. The most recent report states plainly that "the Word was made flesh and dwelled among us." Those who will not accept the factuality of that great Declaration have a personal problem that should be taken up by themselves with God Himself in the secrecy of secret prayer. Theologies, philosophies, religious doctrines, and scientific theory of this old will vanish like smoke. Everything changed when Jesus said, "This is the new testament of my blood."
Many (if not most) people find it extremely difficult to accept the plainly stated, supernatural facts of "the new testament." History proves that the people of planet Earth would rather argue and fight with each other than willingly submit themselves in secret prayers to the physically intangible certainty of God's Control over their lives.
