Religious people and all other kinds of people ought to quit worrying about "religion" and pick up on the reality of the present spiritual situation. (This article was written after the Islamic attacks of September 11th 2001.)
With the following words, the entire population of planet Earth-past, present, and future is put on strict notice: "I am the way. I am the truth. I am the life. No man comes to the Father [God] except through me."
Those words and the conviction of them are delivered into this hour by Jesus of Nazareth. The conviction of those words is accomplished in one way only: "Not by might, not by power, but by my Spirit says the LORD of hosts."
Jesus of Nazareth announced Himself, accomplished His work and went His way. He left the Earth with a promise of comfort to His people: the promise that He would send His Spirit to "lead you into all truth and show you things to come." That promise is coming true now.
None of what Jesus says is an idle boast. Jesus of Nazareth is not an insane megalomaniac. Jesus of Nazareth was born "out of due time" to fulfill a specific purpose. His purpose was not and is not to establish a new "religion" in this old world. His purpose (among other things) is to prove that there is nothing particularly "religious" about God.
God is God. No earthly religion of any kind adds to or subtracts from "the truth, the way, and the life" of the living God.
Excesses and perversions of so-called "christianity" do not affect the purpose that God the Father established and brought forth as an ordinary-seeming man. Jesus of Nazareth was "born out of due time" to settle the global hash of spiritual perversion. He will not fail in this because He cannot fail. Jesus of Nazareth is the way, the truth and the life that almighty God Himself has established as the absolute beginning and end of everything in this old world.
The mysterious force called "time" is a spiritual element. The entire atomic process throughout this particular universe is played out in the spiritual medium of time.
Religious people the world over ought not to spend their time spinning in the clouds of their religion. The reality of God is certain. His authority and power in His Christ is absolute. Any God-fearing military man in this world knows there is nothing whatsoever that is "religious" about absolute power and authority. More of the civilian population should try and understand the significance of that simple fact.
