The Strife of "Religion"
Through His prophet Isaiah, almighty God did command these words to be written:

"I am the LORD, and there is none else.  I form the light, and create darkness:
I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."  Isaiah chapter 45, verse 5

For a long time those stern words were used (along with many more like them) to enforce the fearful intricacies of Old Testament Law.  Jesus of Nazareth established "the new testament of my blood which is shed for you."  Now the stern Old Testament Law has been usurped by system of liberty in Christ.

"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD."    Luke chapter 4, verses 18 and 19

The new system is the way, the truth, and the life of God in His Christ-manifestation, Jesus of Nazareth.  God created the Old Testament Law and then God sent His Christ into this world to put an end to the Old Testament and establish New Testament Liberty.

There are billions of people on Earth to-day who think the Testament-system is a lot of malarkey.  Lots of people think God, His Christ, and His Spirit are "religious."   Some people think there is no such thing as "god."  More people than not think "the New Testament" is nothing but a dusty old fairy-tale.

There is nothing "religious" about God.  God is God.   God needs no "religion" to be Himself.

During these troubled days on planet Earth, people are beginning to think that "religion" is at the root of the troubles.  If the atheists were correct and God Himself did not exist, then "religion" would be a prime suspect.  But all the religion in the world comes from people who don't doubt for a minute that God exists.  Their "religion" is their own interpretation of what they think God requires of them.

Lots of people think Jesus of Nazareth is but one among many leaders of "religion.".  Those who think so are making a common mistake.  The confusion of "religion" makes it easy to be mistaken about the uniqueness of God's Christ.  Jesus of Nazareth didn't need any religion to do the work He did in and around old Jerusalem.  He needs no religion to do the work He does now through His Spirit.

Lofty cathedrals and highfalutin theology/philosophy are impressive to man-kind.  God is The One who forms light, creates darkness, makes peace, and creates evil; God is The One who speaks and a new universe springs to life.  God needs nothing from man-kind to be Himself.  In this present world, many people judge the character of God by applying human characteristics to whatever idea they have of Him.  The only "human" to ever meet God's Standard of Living on planet Earth is God Himself, incarnate as Jesus of Nazareth.

God's intends to prove that here on Earth The Good will prevail over The Evil.  His ultimate proof is found in the life, death and resurrection of His Christ.  The goodness of Christ is increased by every living Soul who turns from the humanist insanity of "religion" into "the way, the truth, and the life" of almighty God in Christ.  People who embrace religion instead of studying Jesus for themselves are probably missing the door they are looking for; blinded by the dark light of humanist religion.
