Atomic Jesus Supernaturalist
Soul-Cosmos, Humanism, and Thought
Apostle Paul wrote: "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not
war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but
mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down
imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of
God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And
having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is
fulfilled." 2 Corinthians 3 - 6
"Bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" reflects the meaning of what the Christ-man actually meant when He said, "Without me, you can do nothing." The Christ-man also said that He would send us His Spirit and that His Spirit would "lead you into all truth and show you things to come."
It takes focused determination and courage to look at the supernatural facts as they are written and embrace their meaning as it IS. The inclination to downplay the supernaturality of your own Soul-in-flesh is always there. The so-called physical cosmos of earth, flesh, and sky imprints its own brand of insight into the spiritual existence of a living Soul. Physical insight sees spiritual things as useless foolishness.
Jesus the Christ-man declared:
"I am the way, the truth, and the
life: no man comes to the Father, but by me."
Acceptance of the unequivocal, absolutely factual character of spiritual things begins in the processes of one's thoughts. Before God Himself walked the Earth in the form of a man named Jesus of Nazareth, prophet Isaiah received this: "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts."
Now it's possible to look back over the centuries and see how God Himself has guided the revelation of Himself to the people of planet Earth. Through Isaiah, supernatural facts about the ways and the thoughts of God and man are declared. Then, in His Christ-manifestation, God Himself demonstrates the practicality of those facts. Finally, God's apostle Paul puts a sharp point to the inevitability of God's Being all-in-all.
Souls-in-flesh who yearn for the righteousness of God are charged with bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. A courageous reading of the written facts leads to the conclusion that none of these supernatural actions can occur without God-in-Christ-by-His-Spirit leading the way.
Following the Christ-man is simple, not simple-minded. If God had created the adam-species to be anything less than it is, none of these "issues and nuances" would matter because there would no capacity to imagine such things in the first place.
As it is, we are faced with a quest which produces millions of little fears, doubts, and questions. Unless the yearning Soul somehow finds the courage to accept the supernatural facts as they are, that Soul will continue to quest in the failing strength of its own dying flesh. These bodies of flesh grow old and die. The earth itself grows old and barren. The stars explode into darkness. Eventually, God will re-create the heavens and the earth. Corruption and Death caused by the misbegotten Knowledge of Good and Evil will be eradicated. The Soul will be relieved of the pain and confusion caused by the supernatural powers of Evil and Death.
Until then, the spiritual foundations of our existence will remain hidden from all who refuse the offer of God's Help. Fact is that the impenetrable paradox of a Soul's existence on planet Earth has been completely solved and totally rectified in the human manifestation of God's Christ, Jesus of Nazareth.
The plain fact is that Jesus of Nazareth actually does take great pleasure enlightening the processes of thought in a living Soul. "Not by might, not by power, but by my Spirit says the LORD of hosts." But it seems there are few indeed who are willing to relinquish what they believe to be their "self-control." Unenlightened human thought will never think of a way to end its vanity. The vanity of humanism will deceive millions of people until the Last Second of the Last Hour vanishes into Eternity.
